Frequently asked questions
Does it really work without the internet?
Yes, and that is the point of it. Sales, receipts, held tickets and customer records all work on the machine itself. Anything that happened while you were offline is sent up when the connection returns, in the order it happened. You do not have to do anything, and you do not lose the sale.
Can I use it on more than one till?
Yes. A plan is priced by the number of devices, and every till on the plan shares the same products, customers and takings. A ticket parked on one till can be picked up on another.
Can I bring my products in from a spreadsheet?
Yes. Import a CSV or Excel file with your product names and prices; category, description, barcode and stock come across too if you have them. You can export the same way, so your catalogue is never locked in.
Does it suit a restaurant as well as a shop?
Both. A shop uses products, barcodes and stock. A restaurant switches on tables and the kitchen board and works by seat and by order. Each outlet decides for itself, so a group can run both.
Do I need an account to try it?
You need an account, but not a card. The free Starter plan covers one outlet, three staff and two hundred products, and it does not expire. Premium and Enterprise add a free trial on top when you are ready to look at them.
